MetalEraser worked fine on the image file. The file was about 3000 pixels. It makes a very nice image for blending. Rich

As far as the PNG transparent area, it seems to depend on the image and the parameters both. I have only done a couple of images. I made a selection from the transparency, and saved the selection. Later, I loaded the selection from the alpha channel, inverted the selection, and cleared the transparent area. Rich
